Shipping
will be calculated at the checkout based on your ship-to location. Our
normal shipping is through UPS or USPS (Postal). We consider this to be one of the most efficient
ways to ship at a somewhat reasonable rate. All shipments will be well packed and fully
insured. You will be responsible for furnishing an accurate address. Post Office
Boxes
are not acceptable for UPS shipping but are OK for USPS.
If items shipped through
UPS are damaged or lost due to shipping, the customer will be responsible for saving all
packing materials, contacting UPS regarding the claim, and collecting the insurance
amount. Chambless Cine Equipment will be responsible for providing an over-the-phone
damage evaluation, the insurance claim amount, and the tracking number for the lost or
damaged items. All items including but not limited to lost or damaged film will only
be insured for the equivalent replacement cost of that item. Production costs will
not be covered.
We do use U.S. Postal
(USPS) Priority with Delivery Confirmation Receipt on small orders that don't require insurance.
You will be charged a smaller amount where applicable. Our minimum charge for 1 pound is
$7.91 (presently), any zone, not insured. Larger packages vary based on zone and weight.
MINIMUM SHIPPING AND
HANDLING (UPS). Due to 2008 rate increases by UPS, we will need to adjust some
since their increases will be worldwide, surcharges and fuel surcharges, which
they adjust continually; however, we will stay as low as we can. Remember, these are MINIMUM or base charges. Weight, Zone,
Residence or Commercial address and Insurance: all these factors will determine charges.

UPS
Commercial Addresses
Cost Less than Residential Addresses.
UPS within the State of Georgia 1 pound $9.50, and UP plus insurance; East of the
Mississippi except Georgia $10.50 and UP plus insurance; West of the Mississippi
$12.50 and UP plus insurance; Note these are minimum charges.
Weight and insurance charges may increase these minimum charges accordingly. There
is a Delivery Area Surcharge for many addresses it can be either $1.50 for
commercial addresses or $2.50 for residential addresses. There is also a
percentage charge for fuel on all ground and air shipments, changes based on current fuel charge. We charge each package based on
current UPS charge. Remember
we charge exact charges plus our handling fee.
Chambless Cine Equipment
normally does not offer FedEx service unless your customer account number is
supplied. FedEx charges a $4.00 pick-up fee. An additional $5.00 will be charged for
packing, labor and supplies on domestic orders; $10.00 or more, on International
orders.
Any other method of
shipping will be at customer's own risk. |
